Guests with mobility challenges now have the opportunity to check out one of our mobility scooters for use to help them explore the trails and pathways. Reserve a mobility scooter in advance of your visit by calling 515.795.3216 or ask about its availability at the information desk in the Hughes Education Center.

Adaptive Hiking Carrier

Designed to support children from 25–80 pounds, it provides a secure, stable way to explore trails, sand, uneven ground, and the places that wheels can’t easily travel. 

* Reserve it in advance or ask for it at the front information desk. There are two sizes available (small/medium & medium/large).
